  Nov 03, 2009 – THE PRIDE of Dacorum were recognised for their hard work and dedication in the Excellence Awards 2009. 

The event, held by The Gazette and Dacorum Borough Council on Friday 23rd October, paid tribute to those who have made outstanding contributions to the community, business and sport in the area. 
Entech Technical Solutions who moved to Hemel Hempstead earlier in the year were short-listed for the Business of the year category. 

A glittering black-tie event held at the opulent Shendish Manor, Entech were proud to receive a Commendation for Business of the Year 2009. 

Commenting on their achievement Rachel Thomas HR Manager said “Our team has worked incredibly hard at building relationships with clients since our move from Wembley to Hemel.  It is wonderful to be seen and acknowledged by the Business Community of Hertfordshire.  This is further recognition of  Entechs’ achievements “. 

More than £2,000 was raised for the mayor’s charity Dacorum Emergency Night Shelter, which helps the homeless, and for the Poppy Appeal. 

Sponsors of the event included The Gazette, Dacorum Borough Council, BP, Kodak, the Sportspace Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry and NGK Spark Plugs. 

The Mayor of Berkhamsted, David Collins, said he was delighted businesses in the town came up trumps in this year’s awards. 
Entertainment on the night was provided by two Dacorum talents – 14-year-old Chloe Smith sang a collection of modern songs and 17-year-old Charlie Smith performed a medley of jazz and soul classics.

 

 

ENTECH Technical Solutions has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Business of the Year Award at the 2009 Dacorum Excellence Awards.

 

The Dacorum Excellence Awards are an annual event organised by Dacorum Borough Council, Herts Chamber of Commerce & Industry and sponsored by a number of business leaders including BP and Kodak.

 

The Award will be presented to the winning team at the black tie awards ceremony at Shendish Manor on the 23rd October 2009.

 

Commenting on the nomination Saul Philpot, Managing Director of Entech Technical Solutions said “We are delighted to have been short-listed for this award. Our team has worked incredibly hard in building relationships with clients and integrating more with the Business Community of Hertfordshire since our move from Wembley.  It’s nice to see us gaining further recognition of Entechs’ achievements”
